Our Story

About Mock Brands:

Once upon a tour van, somewhere between Toledo and “Where the f are we?”, Mock Brands co-founders Paul and Ryan spent their time dreaming up fake t-shirt ideas—ridiculous, sarcastic, and occasionally unprintable.

What began as a coping mechanism has evolved into a full-blown design studio dedicated to the fine art of gentle ridicule. Think of it as merch for people who don’t take anything (especially themselves) too seriously.

About Ryan:

Beamed to Earth on a mission to “observe human behavior,” Ryan got distracted and never left. Now the creative half of Mock Brands, he turns ordinary ideas into extraordinary nonsense. Fueled by extraterrestrial curiosity and questionable playlists, he brings out-of-this-world designs to a planet that desperately needs better t-shirts and more questionable humor.

About Paul:

A decorated veteran of the Revolutionary War (don’t ask which side, it’s complicated), Paul eventually traded his musket for a MacBook and settled in Vermont, where he now manages the business side of Mock Brands. When he’s not wrangling invoices or re-living his glory days at Yorktown, he enjoys maple syrup, sarcasm, and reminding Ryan that spreadsheets win wars.
